The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Nursing Officer recruitment 2025. This eagerly awaited recruitment exam, held on July 7, 2024, aimed to fill 1,930 Group B Nursing Officer vacancies across India. After a rigorous selection process involving a written exam, document verification, and Detailed Application Form scrutiny, a total of 1,893 candidates have been recommended for appointment.Despite the large number of vacancies, 37 posts remained vacant due to the unavailability of suitable candidates from the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category. Aspirants who qualified can now look forward to joining ESIC as Nursing Officers and contributing to healthcare services in the country. The results are available on the official UPSC website.
UPSC ESIC Nursing Officer selection process
The ESIC Nursing Officer recruitment process began with the UPSC conducting the written examination on July 7, 2024. Over 3,300 candidates were shortlisted to appear for the next stage based on their performance. After the exam, shortlisted candidates submitted their Detailed Application Forms (DAF) for document verification. However, 289 candidates were disqualified for failing to submit their DAF within the prescribed time. Following thorough scrutiny, 2,781 candidates were found eligible for final selection.

upsc.gov.in . - Look for the “What’s New” or “Latest Notifications” section on the homepage.
- Click on the link titled “Final Result – Nursing Officer in ESIC”.
- A PDF file containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates will open.
- Use the search function (Ctrl + F or Command + F) to find your roll number in the PDF.
- Download and save the PDF file for your records.
