A security guard in Mhape MIDC experienced a startling encounter on Monday morning when he found a cobra coiled inside his shoe, which he had left outside due to rain. Promptly, a snake rescuer was called to the scene to carefully remove the snake and release it into its natural habitat.
MUMBAI: A security guard at a company in Mhape MIDC had a close brush with danger on Monday morning after he found an adult cobra curled up inside his shoe.The guard had left his shoes outside the security cabin due to the rain. When he tried to wear them, he noticed unusual movement inside one. On checking, he discovered a full-grown cobra comfortably coiled inside.Snake rescuer Akshay Dange was called to the spot. The snake was carefully removed and later released into the wild.
