Mhada invites tender for redevelopment of 450 sq ft homes to PMGP Colony residents in Mumbai | Mumbai News
MUMBAI: Mhada has launched the tender for appointing a contractor to the redevelopment of the vast PMGP Colony at Poonam Nagar in Jogeshwari (East) that is spread across 27,625 sq m.Under this, 984 families will be provided modern flats of 450 sq ft carpet area in exchange of their 180 sq ft matchbox-sized homes. Mhada aims to complete the project in three and a half yearsPMGP Colony has been gradually crumbling in a dilapidated condition for many years. Residents often circulate visuals of falling debris and broken amenities on social media, demanding redressal of their grievances and seeking long delayed redevelopment.
