Maharashtra government announces Rs 1 crore grant for Shivalaya community centre in Worli | Mumbai News
Mumbai: State culture minister Ashish Shelar on Thursday announced a grant of Rs 1 crore to Shivalaya, a community centre set up by the late Speaker Dattaji Nalawade at Worli. The dilapidated centre will be repaired by the BMC, said industries minister Uday Samant, while the funds provided will be utilised for other purposes.Nalawade, who was an MLA from Worli, belonged to the undivided Shiv Sena. He was also a corporator and mayor.
