Bengaluru: A speeding mini goods vehicle collided with the road divider on Ramasandra bridge and the crash barrier on NICE Road around noon Saturday. The driver’s cabin detached from the rest of the vehicle due to the impact of the accident and plunged from the bridge. The driver and two cleaners, who suffered injuries, were rushed to a private hospital. The driver’s condition was reported to be critical. Jnanabarathi traffic police are investigating the incident.The vehicle was transporting blankets and other materials at the time of the accident. The crash barrier, hazard board, and railing at the spot were also damaged.NICE Road toll staff filed a complaint against Raghavendra. A senior police officer said RTO officials visited the spot but they were yet to report if there was any technical problem in the vehicle. The driver did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol, the officer said.
