Daughter’s Quick Action Stops Sepsis Tragedy
Bodybuilding legend Ronnie Coleman has opened up about a terrifying near-death experience after a sudden battle with sepsis. Two weeks after his family revealed he was hospitalized, the 61-year-old broke his silence with an emotional video on Instagram and TikTok, saying, “Ya boy was hit with sepsis, and it nearly killed me.” Coleman credited his 13-year-old daughter for acting fast and possibly saving his life. Following emergency surgery and a tough recovery, the 8-time Mr. Olympia is now turning his focus to raising awareness about the deadly illness. Partnering with Sepsis Alliance and relaunching his #RonnieStrong campaign, Coleman is urging fans to stay educated on what he calls a “silent killer.” He also thanked supporters for their prayers, adding, “Stay strong, stay informed, and keep lifting me up.”
