Bus driver loses control of steering wheel, hits Metro pillar | Bengaluru News
Bengaluru: Six passengers sustained injuries after a BMTC bus rammed a Metro pillar on the busy Mysuru Road late Friday evening when the driver lost control of vehicle due to a technical glitch.The bus, heading towards Bidadi from KR Market, hit Metro pillar number 607 and halted in the middle of the road. Six passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated at a nearby hospital as outpatients.The BMTC bus driver told traffic police he lost control of the steering wheel due to a technical glitch in the steering rod, resulting in the accident. At the time of the accident, there were around 15 passengers travelling in the bus.
