Brace for blocks on Central Railway; no day block on Western suburban today | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: The Central Railway will operate megablock on 5th and 6th lines on Main line between Vidyavihar and Thane stations and UP and Down Harbour line between Kurla and Vashi stations for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works today.The Main line block is being carried out from 8 am to 1.30 pm while the Harbour block is from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm.Special suburban trains will run on CSMT Mumbai – Kurla & Panvel – Vashi sections during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations till 6 pm.There will be no rail block on Western Railway suburban today.

A block was already carried out on Up fast and 5th line from 12.30 am to 4 am between Santacruz and Goregaon stations, an official added.
