SSC releases exam and self-slotting schedule for CGL Tier-2, MTS, Havaldar and GD Constable exams
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made an essential announcement about the test schedule of various recruitment examinations, which mainly include the SSC CGL Tier, 2 examination, SSC Multi, Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar Examination 2025, SSC Constable (GD) Examination 2026. Besides the exam dates, SSC has also made an announcement regarding some exams’ self, slotting dates.With dates confirmed, candidates can now plan their revisions, mock tests, and daily preparations more efficiently. The SSC has instructed the candidates to check the timetable closely and keep coming to the official website for the releases of the admit card, exam city details, and other instructions.
Exams covered in the latest SSC notice
According to the latest SSC update, the following examinations are included:
- SSC CGL Tier-2 Examination
- SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025
- SSC Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026
These examinations are held to recruit candidates for different posts in the central government departments and security forces.
SSC MTS, Havaldar and GD exam dates and self-slotting details
SSC has released the starting dates of the examinations along with the self, slotting dates, if any. Candidates may refer to the table below for the details.
Candidates appearing for the MTS and Havaldar exam should note that self-slotting will begin from January 15, 2026, allowing them to choose their exam date and shift.
SSC CGL Tier-2 exam schedule 2026: Paper-wise details
SSC has also released the paper-wise schedule for the SSC CGL Tier-2 examination. The exam will be conducted on two days: January 18 and January 19, 2026. Different papers and sections will be held on different days.
