Tuesday evening, he demanded more money, but Ambuja told him she had very little left. Enraged by her response, Vijay threatened to hang himself. However, Ambuja, seated at the entrance, ignored him, as he had made similar threats in the past. Vijay then tied a rope to a ceiling hook and, allegedly in an inebriated state, became trapped in the noose.Ambuja found him hanging around 8pm and alerted the neighbours, but he was already dead by that time.
