BENGALURU: A gas cylinder blast at a paying guest (PG) facility in the Kundalahalli area of Bengaluru left a young software engineer dead and three others injured, police said.The deceased, Aravind, 23, a native of Ballari, was working as a senior analyst with Capgemini.According to news agency PTI, the explosion occurred around 6.15pm on Monday at Seven Hills Sai Co-Living PG, located within the HAL Police Station limits.Three other residents sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at a city hospital.The blast took place in a seven-storey (G+6) building housing 43 rooms.Fire tenders, emergency services, and local police rushed to the spot and carried out evacuation and fire-control operations.Preliminary investigation suggests a commercial-grade gas cylinder was involved, though the exact cause of ignition has yet to be determined.(With agency inputs)
