Renault cars to get costlier from January 2026: Here’s by how much
Renault India has announced a price revision across its model range, with vehicles set to become slightly more expensive from January 2026. The French carmaker confirmed that prices will go up by up to 2 percent, with the revised rates coming into effect from January 1, 2026.According to the company, the decision has been taken in response to rising input costs and broader macroeconomic pressures. Renault clarified that the extent of the increase will differ depending on the model and variant, though it has capped the hike at 2 percent.
Best time to buy until year-end
Buyers planning to purchase a Renault still have a short window to lock in current prices. Therefore, all bookings made until December 31, 2025, will be honoured at existing rates, offering some relief to customers looking to beat the price hike.
Renault India: Current lineup and upcoming models
At present, Renault’s India lineup includes three models: the Kwid, Triber and Kiger. These models are expected to see the price revision in the new year, although Renault has not shared model-wise or variant-wise details yet.Looking ahead, Renault is also gearing up to strengthen its presence in the Indian market. The brand’s well-known midsize SUV, the Duster, is set to make a comeback next year. Renault has confirmed that the new-generation Duster will be unveiled on January 26, 2026.
