Vijay Hazare Trophy Live Score: With Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as the notable absentees, Delhi and Mumbai have decided to field first against Saurashtra and Chhattisgarh respectively in the third round of Vijay Hazare Trophy on Monday.

The Vijay Hazare Trophy witnessed a blockbuster Friday, marked by centuries, match-turning spells and narrow finishes across the country. Delhi clinched a thrilling seven-run win over Gujarat in Bengaluru, built around fluent half-centuries from Virat Kohli (77) and captain Rishabh Pant (70). Gujarat were cruising at 121/1 before collapsing under pressure, with Prince Yadav’s three wickets sealing the contest. Kohli was named Player of the Match in what is believed to be his final domestic outing of the season.

Mumbai recovered from the shock of Rohit Sharma’s golden duck to defeat Uttarakhand by 51 runs, thanks to solid fifties from Musheer Khan and Sarfaraz Khan and a late onslaught by Hardik Tamore. Uttar Pradesh produced the most dominant display of the day, hammering Chandigarh by 227 runs as captain Rinku Singh blasted an unbeaten 106 off just 60 balls, supported by Aryan Juyal’s 134.

Vidarbha continued their strong run with an 89-run win over Hyderabad, headlined by Dhruv Shorey’s fifth consecutive List A century, equalling N Jagadeesan’s record. Karnataka were equally emphatic, chasing down Kerala’s total with ease on the back of commanding hundreds from Devdutt Padikkal and Karun Nair.

Among other highlights, Jharkhand’s Shubham Kumar Singh claimed a career-best six-wicket haul, Punjab cruised to victory with twin unbeaten centuries from Harnoor Singh and Anmolpreet Singh, while Madhya Pradesh, Andhra, Maharashtra and Baroda also registered convincing wins, underlining the depth and intensity of India’s premier domestic one-day tournament.
