Bihar DElEd JEE 2026 application and fee submission deadline extended; check BSEB official notice here
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has reopened the application window for the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2026 after extending the deadline for submitting online forms and examination fees. The decision aims to give relief to candidates who could not complete the process earlier.If you are planning to appear for the entrance test, the extension gives you more time to apply. You can now complete the application and fee payment within the revised period announced by the board.Earlier, BSEB had fixed the period for filling the online examination application and depositing the fee from December 11, 2025, to December 24, 2025. Through Advertisement No. PR 331/2025, the board extended the submission period from December 26, 2025, to January 09, 2026. All other conditions mentioned in the earlier notification PR 323/2025 remain unchanged.

Extended deadline for online application and fee paymentThe extension is only for the submission of the online application form and the payment of the examination fee. Candidates must do both steps within the extended period to be considered eligible for the D.El.Ed. JEE 2026. The notification has been issued by the Controller of Examinations (Miscellaneous), BSEB.The application process is being done online through the official BSEB portal. Candidates are advised to complete the process carefully, as no further changes have been announced so far.Details of seats and participating collegesThe D.El.Ed JEE 2026 is being held for admission to 30,800 seats across 306 D.El.Ed colleges in Bihar. Admission will be granted for the academic session 2026–2028.As per the examination committee, 50 per cent of the total seats in all institutions are reserved for science stream students, while the remaining 50 per cent are allocated to candidates from arts and commerce streams.In addition, 10 per cent of the seats are reserved for candidates who have studied Urdu as a subject at the Plus Two level. This reservation is applied as a horizontal reservation and is available only to eligible candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with Urdu.Examination schedule and admission processAccording to the examination calendar released by the committee, the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination is likely to be conducted online from January 19, 2026, to February 18, 2026. The results are expected to be announced in March 2026.The first, second, and third merit lists, preparation for choice locking, seat allocation, and slide, up processes are scheduled to start in the last week of March. The admission process is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026, and the new academic session will begin in July.
