BANKURA: A 53-year-old booth-level officer in West Bengal’s Bankura district, who was also the headmaster of a primary school, was found dead Sunday in a school room. A note recovered from the spot read, “I cannot take this pressure anymore, farewell”.Haradhan Mondal, known locally as Haru master, was a BLO in booth number 206 in Ranibandh assembly constituency. Mala told the police that the SIR exercise – which she claimed was taking a toll on her husband physically and mentally – drove him to end his life.
