Google CEO Sundar Pichai recently shared an AI-generated photo on X (formerly Twitter) to wish users a Merry Christmas. The photo generated using Google’s Gemini features a custom snow globe image of a figurine version of himself with his dog Jeffree in front of the snow-dusted Golden Gate Bridge, evoking Google’s San Francisco roots. The post shared on December 25 garnered over 530K views and more than 7,500 likes. “Merry Christmas! Wishing you a joyful holiday with friends and family,” Pichai captioned the image.Sundar Pichai’s post caught the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk who shared the post on his timeline.

Elon Musk responds to Sundar Pichai’s video

Lately, both of them have been active on social media. Recently, Musk replied to a Pichai’s clip where the Google CEO talked about developing data centres in space. In an interview with Fox News recently, Pichai said that the company is working on quantum computing, adding “in that spirit, one of our moon shots is to, how do we one day have data centers in space so that we can better harness the energy from the sun”.Sundar Pichai’s video from the interview was shared by X user – Bourbon Capital in an online post. It caught the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk who replied to the post with a single word. “Interesting”, Musk wrote.“At Google, we are always proud of taking moon shots,” Pichai said, adding “… Waymo … has been over a decade in the making.”“We’re working on quantum computing, in that spirit, one of our moon shots is to, how do we one day have data centers in space so that we can better harness the energy from the sun,” he continued. Pichai further said that the company wants to “put these data centers in space closer to the sun”, and will take “first step in 2027”.
