'Vrusshabha' box office collections day 1: Mohanlal film records lowest opening ever; Film mints only Rs 61 lakhs in India
Mohanlal’s new action film ‘Vrusshabha’ has had a disappointing box office debut, earning a mere Rs 61 lakhs in India on its opening day. Worldwide collections reached approximately Rs 70 lakhs. Despite a better performance in Malayalam, the film struggled to attract audiences across all languages, with early reviews on social media being largely negative, criticizing the story and VFX.

Mohanlal’s new epic action film ‘Vrusshabha’ has started its box office journey on a very weak note. On day 1, the film collected only Rs 61 lakhs from India.According to the Sacnilk website reports, the total worldwide collection on the first day stood at around Rs 70 lakhs.

Language-wise collection details

The Malayalam version performed better than the other versions but the numbers were still poor. The Malayalam net collection on day 1 was Rs 46 lakhs. The Telugu version collected Rs 13 lakhs. The Hindi version saw very little footfall and managed only Rs 2 lakhs. Overall the film failed to pull audiences to theatres in all languages on its first day.
