ACP arrested for accepting Rs 30K bribe | Bengaluru News
Bengaluru: An assistant commissioner of police was trapped and arrested by Lokayukta police Wednesday for accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a hotel manager.The accused officer, Malleswaram sub-division ACP Krishnamurthy, was while accepting the money near his office, Lokayukta police said. Krishnamurthy allegedly demanded Rs 50,000 from the owner of Sagar Hotel on Dr Rajkumar Road to permit them to run business after 1am.
