Bihar STET result 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to release the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 results soon. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can visit the official website to download the results. The examination was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from October 14 to October 31, 2025, at centres across the state.This year, over 4 lakh students took the exam. The exam had two sections: Paper 1 for the secondary level and Paper 2 for the higher secondary level. Candidates must pass STET to be eligible for the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Teacher Recruitment Exam-4 (TRE-4). The fourth phase of Bihar’s teacher recruitment process will begin after the STET results are announced.

Bihar STET age limit and educational qualifications

For general category candidates, the maximum age limit is 37 years. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories: women, BC, and MBC candidates get three years; SC and ST candidates get five years; and PwD candidates get ten years.Educational qualifications differ for the two papers. Paper-1 candidates need a Graduation degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject and a B.Ed., or equivalent combinations. Paper-2 candidates require a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a B.Ed., or BA-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed.
