Assam Rifles Tradesmen and Technical selection process 2025

The Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesmen recruitment followed a multi-stage evaluation process. Clearing a single stage did not guarantee selection; candidates had to successfully complete the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade/Skill Test, Written Test, and the Detailed Medical Examination to be included in the final merit list. The written test was conducted as a 100-mark computer-based exam, and candidates were shortlisted in a 1:4 ratio against vacancies, based on performance and minimum qualifying marks (35% for General/EWS, 33% for SC/ST/OBC). Candidates who were initially found medically unfit were provided an option for a Review Medical Examination (RME) within the prescribed timeframe before finalising the results.
