Mumbai: FDA to intensify checks at hotels before New Year | Mumbai News
Mumbai: With New Year celebrations and the Dec 31 rush approaching, FDA has been directed to carry out intensive inspections of hotels, restaurants and food establishments to ensure that food served to customers is clean, safe and unadulterated.Food safety officers have been asked to conduct thorough checks, FDA and special assistance minister Narhari Zirwal said on Tuesday. Special campaign, titled ‘Welcome the New Year, pledge hotel hygiene’, is being implemented across state from Dec 26 to Jan 15.
