A total of 400 apprenticeship seats have been announced across various states and zones. The vacancies are distributed among Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section, and General categories, including seats reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities. Candidates can apply for only one state and one zone within that state
BOI Apprentice recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
Nationality:The applicant must be a citizen of India.Age limit (as on December 1, 2025):
- Minimum age: 20 years
- Maximum age: 28 years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.Educational qualification:Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The graduation degree should have been completed between April 1, 2021, and December 1, 2025
BOI Apprentice recruitment 2025: Selection process
The selection will be done in two stages:
- Online written examination
- General and Financial Awareness
- English Language (qualifying only)
- Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude
- Computer Knowledge
- Test of local language of the applied state
- The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise based on marks obtained in the online exam
BOI Apprentice recruitment 2025: Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹13,000 for one year. This includes the bank’s share and the Government of India’s support transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer.Read the official notice here.
