Chinese man turns hotel room into something so disgusting, your eyes will never forget...pictures inside

A bizarre hotel incident has left the world shocked and disgusted at the same time! It is the story of a Chinese man who stayed in a hotel for almost two years and turned the whole place into a garbage bin (we are not kidding)! But most importantly, the incident has sparked a worldwide debate on the gaming culture and modern-way of isolation. In a recent shocker, the staff at an esports-themed hotel in Changchun, China were left utterly disgusted after a guest checked out of his room following an uninterrupted two-year stay, like seriously! The room was found buried under three feet of accumulated garbage (the viral images actually show how uninterrupted his stay was!). The incubation periodLet’s call it one of the longest recorded incubation periods for a human! The staff of the hotel was clearly not ready for (un) pleasant surprise when they opened the room door and found themselves surrounded by piles of trash, takeaway containers which looked older than time, empty water bottles, packaging and discarded tissue paper. The whole room was covered in what appeared to be three-feet of human-created garbage, obscuring the furniture and fixtures beneath. As per reports, the male guest had checked into the room. He stayed there for almost two years, and kept ordering food deliveries. No housekeeping staff had ever seen his face. The sad and disgusting state of the bathroom

The images of the bathroom are disgusting enough to make you puke. Used toilet paper was stacked higher than the toilet itself (ewww moment!). A basic washroom looked like a chamber of filth you can’t even imagine. A high-end property, a two-year stay, a pile of trash If you think it’s some basic and regular property, you are wrong. The hotel in question is noted locally as an esports hotel. It was tailored specially for emerging gamers and digital competitors who seek a place to stay while they can enjoy their game without being disturbed. These properties are typically laced with high-performance computers, ergonomic gaming chairs, and ultra-fast internet. These properties respect privacy and comfort that attracts long-term gamers. The cleanup cost

The unidentified guest finally checked out in December 2025. But what happened after became history. The cleanup effort was overwhelming. As per reports, it took three complete days for hotel staff just to clear the pile of garbage. It required professional cleaning crews and protective gear to handle the biohazard conditions. Even after intensive sanitation, the damage was so severe that the room now needs renovation before it can be used again. Not only this, the hotel management also mentioned that the guest who created such a mess still owed payment for over 10 days of unpaid lodging fees — equivalent to several thousand yuan (around INR 30,000+).Why it went viral

The images and videos shared online went viral soon and started a global debate. The images left the world horrified by the extreme state of neglect, questioning how such a mess could be allowed to build up without intervention. The incident also shows the effect of the growing culture of gaming, digital isolation and mental health. Meanwhile, it will always be the “hotel room buried in garbage”.
