BSEBSakshamta Pariksha result 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the results of the Sakshamta Pariksha 4, also known as the Competency Test for Teachers (CTT). The results have been declared for local body teachers teaching Classes 1 to 12. BSEB Sakshamta Pariksha 2025: Passing criteria

The board has specified different qualifying marks for various categories. Candidates can check the minimum passing marks below:

  • General category: 40%
  • Backward Class (BC): 36.5%
  • Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 34%
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Differently Abled, and Female candidates: 32%

Only those candidates who meet or exceed the prescribed cut-off marks have been declared qualified in the Sakshamta Pariksha 4 results 2025.

BSEB Sakshamta Pariksha 2025: Overview

The CTT 4th examination 2025 was conducted in multiple phases. The exam was held from September 24 to September 27, and later from October 12 to October 22, 2025. According to official data, a total of 14,936 teachers appeared for the test across different teaching levels.Class-wise participation details are as follows:

  • 13,726 candidates from Classes 1 to 5
  • 378 candidates from Classes 6 to 8
  • 592 candidates from Classes 9 to 10
  • 231 candidates from Classes 11 to 12

Out of the total qualified candidates, 2,725 are female teachers, while 2,207 are male teachers. The overall pass percentage for the CTT 4th edition 2025 has been recorded at 33.02%, according to the figures released by the board.CTT is conducted by BSEB for local body teachers to assess their subject knowledge and teaching competency. Teachers who qualify this examination become eligible for state employee status, making the test a significant milestone for teaching professionals in Bihar.The computer-based examination was conducted for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes in multiple shifts. The question paper consisted of 150 objective-type questions, covering all classes and subjects. The paper included:

  • 30 questions from the language section
  • 40 questions from general studies
  • 80 questions from subject-related topics
