BENGALURU: City police are on the hunt for a bike-borne miscreant who molested a 28-year-old doctor while she was walking back home from hospital near Soladevanahalli, in northwest Bengaluru, around midnight Wednesday.The incident took place when the doctor, who is pursuing her postgraduation, was walking back alone to her paying guest accommodation. The accused biker allegedly stopped close to her under the pretext of asking for directions to a bus stop. “When I was about to reply, he alighted from the scooter, came close, and touched me inappropriately. Shocked, I raised the alarm, and the miscreant sped away,” the doctor stated in her police complaint. “We have some clues about the suspect and the two-wheeler he used. Unfortunately, there is some mismatch in the licence plate of the gearless scooter used in the crime. However, using other technical tools, we will trace and nab him,” a senior police officer said.
