Bengaluru: In a gruesome incident, miscreants beat a 14-year-old girl to death in her residence on Magadi Road Wednesday afternoon. The girl was alone at home as her parents, who are daily-wage workers, had gone out, police said.The incident came to light when a relative of the girl entered the house and found her body lying near the kitchen. There were multiple injuries on the body, police said, adding: “We suspect the assailant hit her head with a portable cylinder.” CCTV footage from nearby buildings shows a man, who entered the house, heading to his motorbike and placing a cylinder on it. “The main door of the house is intact, indicating that known persons had come in. We are speaking to family members to ascertain what could have happened,” a senior police officer said.
