Bengaluru: A 39-year-old rowdy-sheeter was arrested on charges of threatening staffers of Plus Shopping Mart on Alexandria Street in Richmond Town when they found him stealing products worth around Rs 10,000. The accused is Imran, alias Goli Imran, from Adugodi.According to police, Imran and an associate walked into the supermarket on July 4 around 9.30pm. “Both collected coffee powder, many bottles of malt-based nutritional drinks, and costly cosmetic products. The associate walked out first, and then Imran tried to sneak out without paying the bill. When our staffers stopped him near the entrance, Imran pulled a knife and threatened. Then, both ran away with the products, costing around Rs 10,000,” complainant Abdul Raheem told the police.Police, who recovered some stolen articles from Imran, are looking for his associate, who is elusive.
