5 stage attack to frame molestation survivor’s family | Mumbai News

Thane: Police in Ambarnath arrested five people who allegedly tried to frame the molestation victim’s brother and father in a case of attempted murder by getting themselves attacked. The arrested accused are Akash Gupta, Kanhaiya Gupta, Siddharth Gaikwad, Monu Kashyap, and Ajit Chavan. The mastermind of the incident is Akash Gupta and his brother Kanhaiya. The incident came to light on Saturday when Ajit Chavan complained to police that two persons attacked him. —Pradeep Gupta
