The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is going to release the admit cards for the Assistant Teacher (LT Grade) recruitment examination tomorrow i.e., January 8, 2026, on its official website. Candidates, who have successfully completed the application process, will be able to check and download their hall tickets from the official UPPSC website – uppsc.up.nic.in .The written examination for the UPPSC Assistant Teacher (LT Grade) posts is scheduled to be conducted on January 17, 2026. This recruitment drive is to filling 7466 teaching vacancies in the primary and upper primary schools, across the Uttar Pradesh. It may be noted by the candidates, that the examination process is being conducted under strict administrative supervision.Admit card release and examination scheduleAccording to the information issued by the Commission, the UPPSC admit cards will be available online from January 8, 2026 until exam date. The hall ticket will have key information like the candidate’s name, roll number, examination centre, reporting time, and subject details.The written examination will be held on January 17, 2026, and will cover four subjects on the same day. The assigning of examination centres has already been done by the UPPSC administration. Candidates will receive centre-specific information only through their admit cards. The first thing they must do is visit the official website at upsc.up.nic.in and find the link marked ‘UP Assistant Teacher Admit Card 2026’.After clicking on the link, the candidate is supposed to provide his/her registration number and birthdate. It is necessary to fill in the captcha code, which is displayed on the screen. After that, the candidate is able to view his/her admit card on the screen.Procedure for Examination DayThe commission has some guidelines that the candidates have to strictly follow at the time of the examination. It is necessary to bring a hard copy of the admit card and a photocopy of a valid photograph identity card like Aadhaar card, voter card, or a driving license to the exam hall.Applicants are advised to report to their respective examination centers at least one hour before the scheduled time for the examination. This will enable applicants to go through frisking and other required examination processes.Electronic devices such as mobile phones, wrist watches, calculators, and any other gadgets are not allowed in the exam hall.
