Mumbai: Kurar police filed an FIR against a candidate’s relative under Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act and Maharashtra Police Act for setting up an illegal medical camp in Malad East without permission from local police or BMC. The case was lodged on the basis of a complaint by a junior BMC engineer who also heads an election flying squad. The accused is a close relative of a candidate from ward 43 and violated the model code of conduct, the FIR said. TNN
