Homemaker, twin boys found dead in sump in Tumakuru

Bengaluru: A 26-year-old homemaker and her twin sons were found dead inside the sump of their rented house in Singanahalli Colony, Tumakuru, Tuesday evening. The victims are S Vijayalakshmi and her sons S Chetan and S Chaitanya, both aged 5 years.Police suspect Vijayalakshmi pushed her sons into the sump before jumping in. The tragedy came to light around 6.30pm when her husband, Sampath Kumar, a factory worker, returned home and tried to trace them.“A neighbour noticed water overflowing from the closed sump. On opening it, Kumar found his wife’s body.
