Mumbai: Man assaulted after objecting to Sena workers’ poll campaign, FIR filed | Mumbai News
MUMBAI: MHB Colony Police registered an FIR against 8 to 10 members of Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) for assaulting a Borivali resident after he took objection to their entering his property for poll campaigning on Monday.The incident occurred around 6.30 pm close to New Link Road at Borivali Wesr. Sena party workers were campaigning door-to-door for the upcoming civic elections. When they entered the property of one Vijay Patil, he took objection. This sparked an altercation between Patil and the party workers. It snowballed into violence as party workers rained blows on him. Subsequently, MHB Colony police was informed and a case was registered against 8 to 10 members of Shiv Sena and further investigations are on.
