Bengaluru: Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) and the five newly formed city corporations are preparing to launch redesigned official logos and introduce four eco-friendly buildings themed around blue-green sustainability.The transition is already visible on the ground, with name changes and new signage installed at several locations, including GBA headquarters. These changes will give the new administrative set-up a distinct visual identity.Nearly 1,000 concepts were developed for the logos, and 58 were shortlisted. Students from Chitrakala Parishath, under the guidance of the chief architect of public works department, created the logo designs. The iconic Kote (fort) tower — featured in the BBMP logo — will continue to serve as the central motif for the logos, and each corporation will have its own logo, with its respective map as the backdrop. The designs will be finalised and formally adopted after approval from deputy CM DK Shivakumar.
