Riteish Deshmukh is all set to return as the host of ‘Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6’. The show is set to premiere on January 11, 2026. The Hindi and Marathi actor took over as the host from the previous season after Mahesh Manjrekar. At the announcement of the reality show, Riteish expressed that he has not prepared anything for the show.

According to India Today, Riteish Deshmukh said, “I like how ‘Bigg Boss Marathi’ has a distinct identity. Last year was my first experience. This year, I am hoping for exciting contestants to come on the show. I have not done any preparations. I’m a reactive personality, so based on the actions, I will have reactions.”The actor expressed that he himself is one of the audience members of the show. Deshmukh added that he would not react to any of the situations in the house personally.Riteish further shared that hosting BB Marathi comes with an added responsibility and pressure. He said, I am aware of everything that goes on outside. Nowadays, the show just doesn’t have viewers on TV but also on social media, who have their opinions. So their opinions have to be judged and analyzed. They judge the host’s actions, too, so being a host for this show comes with its pressures.”The actor promised that he would try to handle situations, keeping a calm attitude.

The popular Marathi show is set to premiere on July 11, 2026, on Colors Marathi. The audience can watch the show on the channel every day at 8 pm. It will also be streamed on JioHotstar. Meanwhile, the confirmed contestants of the show are Sagar Karande, Anushree Mane, Deepali Sayed, and Sanket Pathak. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers on the same as of now.
