Boy, 8, drowns in Bidaralli lake in Bengaluru | Bengaluru News
Bengaluru: An 8-year-old boy drowned in Bidaralli lake at Avalahalli, north Bengaluru, Saturday evening.The deceased was Krishna Kumar, a Class III student at Cheemasandra govt school. Kumar and his friends waded into the water when he lost balance and drowned. “Though his friends alerted passersby, the boy could not be saved,” police said.The boy’s father, Saravan Pandit, works as a daily wage laborer and lives with his family in Cheemasandra. He moved to the city from Gaya in Bihar about three years ago.
