‘If Trump Can Capture Maduro, Why Can’t Modi Bring Back 26/11 Mastermind From Pakistan’: Owaisi
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi stirred controversy by linking the recent U.S. military action in Venezuela with India’s handling of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Speaking at a public meeting in Mumbai, Owaisi said that if U.S. President Donald Trump could deploy forces to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and take him to America, India should also act firmly. Addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he questioned why India could not bring the masterminds of the 26/11 attacks from Pakistan. Owaisi named Masood Azhar and Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives, urging the government to use its strength to ensure justice. His remarks followed U.S. strikes in Venezuela and sparked political reactions over India’s counter-terror approach.
