MHT CET 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is expected to begin the registration process for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 in the first week of January 2026. Once the registration window opens, candidates will be able to apply online through the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.The entrance examination will be conducted for admissions to engineering, technology, pharmacy, and other professional courses offered by colleges in Maharashtra.

Aadhaar and APAAR ID mandatory for registration

Applicants for MHT CET 2026 must submit their Aadhaar number and APAAR ID during the registration process. The APAAR ID is a unique academic identity used to maintain student records under the national digital education system. These details will be used for identity verification during the examination and admission process. Candidates are supposed to verify that their Aadhaar information like name, date of birth (as per Class 10 certificate), photograph, address, and mobile number linked to the Aadhaar are correct and updated before they proceed with their registration.

MHT CET 2026 exam to be held twice
