Powerful opening dialogue

‘Battle of Galwan’ teaser starts with Salman’s strong line: “Jawaano yaad rahe, zakham lage to medal samajhna, aur maut dikhe to salaam karna aur kehna, ‘Aaj nahi, phir kabhi.’ (Soldiers, remember this: if you get wounded, consider it a medal; if you face death, salute it and say, ‘Not today, maybe another time.’)” This sets up the film’s mood of bravery and the strong spirit of India’s front-line troops. Khan’s rough look and quiet anger speak more than words. The teaser uses rough, real pictures to show the tough land and hard fights.

Cast and crew

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Battle of Galwan features Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh in major parts. The film is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films.

Salman Khan’s training insights

Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Salman said, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day it gets more and more difficult. I have to give more time now (for training). Earlier, I would do it (train) in one or two weeks; now I’m running, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. This film demands that.”
