PSSSB Grade D application deadline extended: The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has extended the application deadline for Group D Recruitment 2025. Candidates can now apply until January 5, 2026. Eligibility criteria explained
To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. Punjabi must have been studied at the matriculation level, either as a compulsory or elective subject.The minimum age to apply is 18 years. The general category aspirats have upper age limit of 37 years. Candidates in the reserved categories will receive age relaxation. It is provided to ex-servicemen and other eligible groups, following government rules.
Selection process
The selection process will be conducted in two stages. First, candidates will appear for a written examination. The test will be objective in nature. It will test general awareness, basic reasoning, language skills and job-related knowledge.Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for document verification. Original certificates and eligibility documents will be checked at this stage. Final selection will be based strictly on merit and eligibility compliance. There is no interview for these posts.
Pay scale and benefits
Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Level-1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission. The pay scale ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month. In addition, candidates will receive allowances as per Punjab government rules.These are regular state government posts. Service conditions will apply as notified by the government from time to time
