The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has started the online registration process for the NABARD Young Professional Program 2025–26. The programme is being conducted on a contract basis to provide young professionals with exposure to policy research, programme evaluation, and strategic work in the fields of agriculture and rural development.Eligible candidates can apply online only through the official website at nabard.org. The application window is open from December 26, 2025, to January 12, 2026. No other mode of application will be accepted.Last date to apply and pay the fee is January 12, 2026.

NABARD Young Professional Program 2025: Eligibility criteria
The program is open to Indian citizens aged 21 to 30 years as of 1 November 2025. The educational qualification and work experience must be valid as of 1 November 2025, and final results must have been declared by the same date. Candidates whose results are declared after 1 November 2025 are not eligible.
NABARD Young Professional Program 2025: Duration and stipend
The engagement period will be one year, which can be extended up to three years based on performance and requirements. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 70,000, which is inclusive of all components.
NABARD Young Professional Program 2025: Selection process
The selection process is two-tiered. In the first stage, applications will be screened by a committee based on academic performance, work experience, overall profile, and statement of intent. Shortlisted candidates will then face the Young Professional Selection Committee (YPSC) for a presentation and interview. Final appointmeare subject to clearance by NABARD-appointed medical officers.
