CBSE Direct Recruitment Quota exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will open the application correction window tomorrow, December 29, 2025, for candidates who applied for the Direct Recruitment Quota (DRQ) 2026 examination for Group A, Group B and Group C posts.Candidates can make corrections in their online application form during the following period:
- Correction window opens: December 29, 2025
- Correction window closes: December 30, 2025
- Last time: Up to 11:59 PM
Note: Only one-time correction will be allowed. Candidates are advised to check all details carefully before final submission.
Who can use the correction facility
Only candidates who successfully submitted the complete online application form and candidates who have paid the required application fee within the given time can use the facility.This correction facility is provided as a one-time measure and no further opportunity will be given after the correction window closes.
Fields allowed for correction
Candidates can edit the following details in the application form:
- Candidate name (minor spelling correction only, if any)
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name (spelling correction only)
- Gender
- Nationality
- Educational qualifications
- Photograph and signature (only if unclear or incorrect)
- Options and order of preference (if multiple posts are applied for)
Fields NOT allowed for correction
The following details cannot be changed during the correction window:
- Registered mobile number
- Registered email ID
- Examination centre or city
- Preference order
- Application number
- Date of birth
- Category or sub-category
- Disability details (if applicable)
- Aadhaar number or Aadhaar enrolment number
- Permanent address
How to make corrections
Candidates can follow the steps given below to make corrections in the application form:
- Visit the official CBSE website.
- Go to the Direct Recruitment Quota (DRQ) 2026 section.
- Click on the Application Correction Window link.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- The application form will open on the screen.
- Make the required corrections in the allowed fields only.
- Review all the details carefully before submitting.
- If there is any additional fee due to the correction, pay it online.
- Submit the corrected application form.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
