Bank of India recruitment 2025-26: The Bank of India (BOI) has opened the online registration process for Credit Officer Recruitment 2025-26. A total of 514 vacancies have been announced under the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream. The 514 posts are divided across three management scales:
- Senior Management Grade Scale-IV (SMGS-IV): 36
- Middle Management Grade Scale-III (MMGS-III): 60
- Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II): 418
- Total: 514
Reservation for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will be provided as per Government of India rules.
Bank of India recruitment 2025-26: Eligibility criteria
Educational qualificationCandidates must have a graduation degree from a recognised university. Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) in Banking or Finance are preferred, depending on the post and scale.Age limit (as on November 1, 2025)
- MMGS-II: 25 to 35 years
- MMGS-III: 28 to 38 years
- SMGS-IV: 30 to 40 years
Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government norms.Experience
- MMGS-II: Minimum 3 years of officer-level experience after qualification, with at least 2 years in MSME, corporate or commercial credit
- MMGS-III and SMGS-IV: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking and credit-related roles, as per the scale
