The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made public the schedule for the Tier I examination concerning recruitment notification 01/2025 for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The announcement is for those candidates who have already completed the online application process for various teaching and non, teaching positions.Additionally, CBSE has designated examination centers for the qualified candidates. If you have submitted an application, you can verify your exam center location online through the official login link provided on the CBSE examination portal, in accordance with the information given in the public notice.Dates and shifts for the examination are outThe Tier I examination is scheduled for two days only in January 2026. The test for the posts of Primary Teacher, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Lab Attendant will be held in the morning shift from 9. 30 AM to 11. 30 AM on 10 January 2026. The duration for this shift is two hours.On the same day, the afternoon shift from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM will be held for the Multi-Tasking Staff posts under the HQ and RO cadre. This examination will also last for two hours.Schedule for senior and teaching postsThe next day, January 11, 2026, will include examinations for senior administrative and teaching roles. The morning shift starting from 9. 30 AM and ending at 11. 30 AM will be for the posts of Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal, and Post Graduate Teacher.On January 11, 2026, the afternoon session will be from 2. 30 PM to 4. 30 PM to include Trained Graduate Teacher and miscellaneous teacher posts. Additionally, this shift will also comprise the posts of Librarian, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Junior Translator, Assistant Engineer, Assistant Section Officer, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Stenographer Grade I, and Stenographer Grade II.Exam city details and login instructionsThe examination city has already been allotted to candidates who completed the online application process. Applicants must log in using their registration number, which begins with the digits 2598, along with the password created during registration. The application number must not be used for login.The official notice clearly states that requests to change the examination city will not be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates should note that no separate communication will be sent regarding this matter.Admit card release and official updatesThe admit card, containing full details of the examination centre, will be available on the portal two days before the examination.
