The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is closing online applications for DRQ2026, covering Group A, B, C posts, today. Candidates must submit their completed applications along with the requisite fees before 11:59 PM to be considered eligible.If you haven’t submitted yet, hurry up! After submission, CBSE gives you a chance to fix mistakes. A two-day edit window opens on 29th December and runs until 11:59 PM on 30th December. You can correct certain details in your application during this period.Fields allowed for correctionDuring the edit window, you can make minor spelling corrections in your name exactly as per your Class X certificate. Father’s or mother’s name can also be corrected. You can update gender and nationality if entered incorrectly. Educational qualifications can be fixed too.Candidates can re-upload photographs and signatures if the previous ones were unclear. If you applied for multiple posts under DRQ2026 or Group A, B, C and need to adjust the corresponding fee, you can do that during this window. Remember, the changes are only final after paying any extra fees, and excess payment will not be refunded.Fields not allowed for correctionSome fields are locked and cannot be changed. These include registered mobile number, email ID, examination centre or city preference, application number, date of birth, category/sub-category, and identity proof details like Aadhaar, Passport, or Voter ID. You also cannot update correspondence or permanent address.
