Bengaluru: Let’s hear you one last time! The Times of India’s Happy Streets is returning to Rajarajeshwari Nagar for its final celebration in the neighbourhood — and the last edition of the year. On Sunday, Dec 28, 12th Cross Road near Mount Carmel English School will transform into a lively, traffic-free zone from 6.30am to 9.30am, offering residents a morning dedicated to fitness, culture and community fun.
To reflect the spirit of Happy Streets, on-stage programming has been carefully curated, blending wellness, energy and performance. The morning begins with yoga and pranayama led by Sarvebhavanthu Sukhinah Yoga, followed by high-intensity workouts and fitness dance sessions by Swingers Dance Inc. Adding a traditional strength element, NeeRav Arts Village will showcase mudgar skills, demonstrating the power and discipline of this age-old practice.Cultural performances take centre stage with a vibrant dance show by MDA Mudras Dance Academy, followed by a classical dance presentation from Shivathi Dance Academy. Martial arts enthusiasts can catch an on-stage karate performance by Arvind Universe Karate Training School.Through the morning, Bhima Jewellers, the presenter of Happy Streets, will keep the audience engaged with a crowd quiz, followed by giveaways and a lucky draw.As Happy Streets wraps up its year and bids farewell to RR Nagar, it invites residents to come together one last time to celebrate the joy of shared public spaces, community spirit and unforgettable Sunday mornings.
