While it may not have toppled the Bollywood sensation locally, its success knows no bounds globally, with earnings surpassing USD 450 million. James Cameron‘s sci-fi epic ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ was released in India during ‘Dhurandhar’ fever. The movie was expected to slow down the Bollywood film’s rampage at the box office in India. James Cameron’s ambitious project witnessed a slight rise in the collection on Wednesday (Day 6). According to the Sacnilk report, the film has earned Rs 10.25 crore at the box office on the sixth day since release. Now, the total collection of the film in India stands at Rs 95.75 crore.While in India, the film couldn’t take over ‘Dhurandhar’, but the sci-fi flick showcased dominance in the worldwide market. According to Box Office Mojo, it has raked in over USD 450 million until now.

The highest collection of the film in India until now was recorded on its first Sunday (Day 3). Meanwhile, since Monday, it has been maintaining its consistency of scoring a good number at the box office. On day 20 (Wednesday), since its release, the Ranveer Singh-led film raked in Rs 17.5 crore at the box office. The total domestic collection of the film is now Rs 607.25 crore.
