NEW DELHI: Star teenage batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi failed to perform and did not make an impact for India in the Under-19 Asia Cup semi-final against Sri Lanka on Friday.Sooryavanshi was dismissed for 9 runs in the fourth over of India’s innings. He was caught at short midwicket by Sri Lankan captain Vimath Dinsara off Rasith Nimsara’s third delivery of the over. Sooryavanshi had hit two boundaries off the first two balls of the over.

Indian captain Ayush Mhatre was also dismissed cheaply, scoring seven runs off eight balls.
