As per early estimates on Sacnilk, the film earned approximately Rs 75 lakh on its first Wednesday. This marks its lowest collection to date and the second significant dip below the Rs 1 crore mark during its opening week.

The film opened with Rs 1.85 crore on Day 1 and saw moderate growth over the weekend, collecting Rs 2.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.9 crore on Sunday. However, collections dropped sharply on Monday to Rs 90 lakh. Tuesday brought a brief recovery with Rs 1.1 crore, before slipping again on Wednesday.With this, the film’s total six-day net collection now stands at an estimated Rs 10 crore.

‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ occupancy report

On Wednesday, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 17.12%. Morning shows opened at a low 6.70%, with footfalls improving through the day. Evening shows saw 19.13% occupancy, while night shows registered the highest turnout at 27.18%.

The film’s India gross collections are estimated at Rs 11.9 crore. Overseas performance remains muted, with collections currently standing at around Rs 75 lakh. The film’s worldwide total now stands at approximately Rs 12.65 crore.

The ‘Dhurandhar’ factor

The Ranveer Singh starrer, ‘Dhurandhar’ has reportedly played a big part in dampening the film’s box office success. While the first part of ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ enjoyed an undisrupted run at the box office, this one has faced stiff competition from the spy film. While the rom-com has been struggling to surpass the Rs 1 crore mark, ‘Dhurandhar’ has been raking in daily collections, surpassing Rs 30 crore, thus pushing its total past the Rs 600 crore mark in just 13 days.

Kapil Sharma’s box office standing

With a net collection of Rs 10 crore, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ is currently the third-highest earning film in Kapil Sharma’s filmography. It is close to surpassing the lifetime collections of ‘Firangi’, which earned an estimated Rs 10.21 crore. Meanwhile, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ remains the actor’s biggest box office success, with a total collection of Rs 49.98 crore.

‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ has been facing stiff competition and is set to encounter further pressure with the upcoming release of James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’.
