Mumbai bomb scare: Bombay HC, Esplanade & Bandra court evacuated after threat email | Mumbai News
MUMBAI: The Bandra magistrate court was evacuated Thursday morning and thoroughly checked after the police received a bomb threat via email. Soon after the threat was received, teams from the Nirmal Nagar police station and the bomb detection and disposal squad rushed to the court premises and carried out a search. No suspicious object was found during the inspection.
Threat emails were received at the Bombay HC and Esplanade court too, both the courts in south Mumbai were checked and nothing foundMumbai Police have launched an investigation to trace the source of the threatening email, identify the sender, and ascertain the motive behind it.
