IndiGo flight cancellation status December 18: List of cancelled flights, affected airports and travel advisory

As of Thursday, December 18, several IndiGo flights have been cancelled at major airports across the country due to dense fog and reduced visibility. The airline has been facing winter operational challenges in December 2025. IndiGo shared a travel advisory late night on its X handle which mentioned “Low visibility and fog over #Chandigarh has impacted flight schedules. However, late night, a new travel advisory was issued from the airline, which read:Due to dense fog in #Chandigarh, visibility has reduced drastically, impacting flight operations. As a precaution, some flights have been cancelled through the day to prioritise safety and help minimise extended waiting at the airport. We understand how inconvenient this can be, especially when travel plans are important. Please be assured that our teams across airports are working continuously to manage operations as smoothly as possible, and keep you informed as the situation evolves. With slower road traffic expected, we recommend allowing extra travel time. We also encourage you to check your latest flight status on our website or app before heading to the airport. In case of a cancellation, you may conveniently rebook or claim a refund online via https://goindigo.in/plan-b.html.
